Scrip Newsletter What Is SCRIP? SCRIP is an everyday gift certificate from stores we all shop at! Bethany buys these gift certificates at a discounted price and then resells them to our families at face value. It's so simple! Remember to shop with SCRIP for all of your purchases, and Bethany Lutheran School will earn money! Here's an example: You purchase $100 from our merchants this month. Bethany orders the SCRIP and pays only $90. We earn $10! If 120 families participate at $100 per month, we'll earn $1200 per month. Think about the potential if we also include our everyday department store, grocery store, and restaurant, etc. purchases! It doesn't take long for the earnings to add up! How Do I Order? 1. Please complete the order form and send it and your check with your child to school. Your order will then be filled and returned within 48 hours in your child's backpack. 2. Also, you can meet a scrip member in the hallway outside of the school office on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays between 8:00 and 8:30 am to fill scrip orders. This is a convenient option if you do not feel comfortable having your child transport your order in his/her backpack.
